A 27-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman are facing a number of drug and weapons related charges, as the result of an investigation by members of the Prince Albert Police Street Enforcement Team (SET) and the Integrated Crime Reduction Team (ICRT).

A search warrant was executed earlier this week at a rural area residence.

Inside the home, police found one litre of gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB), and more than 700 grams of methamphetamine. Ammunition, a pair of sawed-off rifles, stolen police-issued body armour and a number of materials associated with drug trafficking were also seized, as well as $5,000 in Canadian currency.

The two accused made their first court appearance earlier this week, and have pending court dates on Sept. 30 and Oct. 8.
