Police investigate gunfire in city, one injury

Prince Albert Police are investigating two incidents involving gunfire this morning, one of which resulted in at least one injury.

They’re appealing to the public for more information.

Just after 6 a.m., police were dispatched to the area around 12th Avenue and 16th Street West for a report of gunshots.

Approximately one hour later, around 7:20 a.m., police responded to a report of gunshots in the 1100 Block of 18th St. W.

One male was located at the scene with a gunshot wound to his leg.

Police believe these incidents may be related.

Police are asking anyone with information about either, or both, of these incidents to call 306-953-4222 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
