P.A. fire dept. responds to fire at landfill

The Prince Albert Fire Department (PAFD) spent the better part of Wednesday fighting a large garbage fire at the city’s landfill.

Firefighters extinguished the fire with the assistance of Buckland Fire and Rescue and heavy equipment operators of the landfill.

PAFD crews remained on scene well into the evening extinguishing flare-ups and smoldering debris.

There were no injuries to report.
