Ottawa offers to help CFL with short-term loan, no decision on season expected Friday: TSN

According to TSN’s Dave Naylor, his sources are telling him the federal government has offered to help the Canadian Football League ahead of a potential 2020 season.
But it would be in the form of a short-term loan with high interest rates and fees.
Naylor said people in the league believe it would put them in a worse spot going forward.
