Inmate from Pine Grove Correctional Centre has passed away

The Government of Saskatchewan has reported a female inmate from Pine Grove Correctional Centre has died.
According to a media release, she was pronounced dead at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon at 8 p.m. last night.
The Prince Albert Police Service is investigating, and the Ministry of Corrections will be doing an internal investigation.
The death is not related to COVID-19 and has been referred to the Saskatchewan Coroners Service. The next of kin have also been told.
