Wildlife Federation awards annual scholarship

Two Prince Albert youth are getting a helping hand with the cost of post-secondary education thanks to the Prince Albert Wildlife Federation.

The club awards a scholarship annually to two children of members. This year’s recipients are Lindsay Cannon and Ryan Crawford. Both received $500.

“We know that the cost of education is extremely high,” P.A. Wildlife Federation Vice President Don Erhardt told paNOW. “It’s just an opportunity for us as a club to give back to the people who support us.”

Erhardt said the Wildlife Federation hasn’t been able to continue many of its usual activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However members did put in portable docks at Heritage Lake and Summit Lake earlier this season.
