P.A. woman reports assault during afternoon jog
Harley Libke is encouraging women in the city to be extra cautious, following a traumatic incident she endured early Wednesday afternoon.
The 25-year-old was out for her routine afternoon jog, and was in the area of 22nd St. E. and fifth Ave. E, when out of nowhere she was approached by a stranger.
“[He] ran up behind me, slapped my ass, grabbed it, and then I turned out ready to swing and he was taking off and cut into the back alley,” she said.
The incident happened around 12:10 p.m. Libke said the man did not speak to her, but as he was running away, looked back and was smiling and laughing.
