Alleged drug trafficker busted again

Jun 1, 2020 | 12:42 PM

A woman charged in connection to a tense situation last January in the Rural Municipality of Buckland, and a drug bust earlier this month in Prince Albert’s west hill area, is facing a number of new charges.

Jazmine Crowe, 26, was arrested last Tuesday. Her latest charges include possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime, possession of a dangerous weapon, and breach of court – ordered release conditions.

In connection to the arrest, police seized more than 100 grams of methamphetamine, two knives and nearly $800 in cash.

Earlier this month, Crowe was also arrested after a vehicle stop by police in the west hill area. Members of the Integrated Crime Reduction Team (ICRT) seized bear spray, a knife and just over 100 grams of methamphetamine.

Crowe was also one of two people charged last January, after a number of properties north of Prince Albert were broken into. Local neighbours helped police track the thieves. Crowe was found hiding in a garage.

Crowe, who is currently in custody, has been scheduled to make her next court appearance Wednesday at Prince Albert Provincial Court.
