No new COVID-19 cases reported
The Saskatchewan Health Authority reported no new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, keeping the provincial total at 592. It was the first time in over two months – when the province was in its opening days of the outbreak- that there have been no new reported cases. Meanwhile, eleven more recoveries were registered.
The continuing hopeful news comes after a weekend in which only two news cases were reported and day before the second phase of the province’s re-open plan gets underway.
Of the 592 reported cases, 131 are considered active.
Five people are currently in hospital – two are receiving inpatient care (one in the Saskatoon and one in Regina) and three are in intensive care (all in Saskatoon).
