Deceased person found on riverbank identified as Donald Light

Prince Albert Police confirmed the body found along the riverbank Monday morning is that of Donald Light.
The 31-year old Prince Albert man had been missing since November when he told his family he was going for a walk but never returned. He was last seen leaving a residence in the 400 block of Eighth St. E. at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2019.
An autopsy was performed Tuesday and police said the cause of the death will not be released. Foul play is not suspected in the case.
Several search efforts for Light were initiated by family, friends and strangers since Light’s disappearance. A Facebook group dedicated to his case had more than 2,000 followers and already has several posts from members expressing condolences to the family.
