Trio facing charges after police locate bear spray, machetes and sawed-off shotgun

Three people are facing charges after they were arrested by members of Prince Albert’s Street Enforcement Team and Integrated Crime Reduction Team.

The arrest happened during a traffic stop Wednesday morning near 15th Street and 12th Avenue West. In their investigation police located a can of bear spray, two large machetes and a sawed-off shotgun.

Christy Simaganis, David Ross and Vance Linklater appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court today. They will appear again tomorrow.
