City of P.A. looking to province for guidance on summer activities
Prince Albert’s Mayor says the city is waiting on the provincial government before making decisions on what summer activities can proceed.
Greg Dionne said he expects the province will speak to what will be permitted and what will not when Premier Scott Moe addresses his so-called Re-Open Saskatchewan plan Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. Dionne added considering there is such a wide range of facilities and activities it is important for the information to be coming from a single source.
“That’s why it’s so valuable we speak with one voice,” he said.
Specifically, Dionne said the city will take their lead from the province on what to do regarding the swimming pools, golf courses, skateboard park, soccer and baseball fields, for example. He added the province is also expected to touch on whether people will be able to go fishing.
