Four Raiders and P.A.’s Schneider in good positions in final draft rankings
Four Prince Albert Raiders and a Prince Albert product are included in the final rankings for the NHL Central Scouting reports for the upcoming NHL Entry Draft.
Raiders’ standout Kaiden Guhle is ranked eighth among North American skaters. Brandon Wheat Kings defenceman Braden Schneider, who’s from Prince Albert, is ranked one spot behind at ninth overall. Both blueliners are positioned one spot below where they were at the midterm rankings back in January.
Guhle had 11 goals and 40 points for the Raiders in 64 games this year. Schneider had seven goals and 42 points in 60 games with the Wheat Kings.
Ozzy Wiesblatt comes in at 19th and could be the second Raider to be drafted in the first round. In his 17-year-old sophomore year, the Prince of Darkness himself had 25 goals and 70 points in 64 games for the Raiders—ranking him second on the Raiders behind only Aliaksei Protas.
