Community Cares Kitchen: from Natalie Guimond

It has been a wonderful start to the week, with so many community members reaching out. We have a wish list for the work that is being done at the Gate: Access Place. We continue to support this work by providing soup and sandwiches. Here is our list of items required:

– Soup bowls with lids

– Cups with lids

– Soup spoons

Toast is served at 10 am at the Gate, with soup and sandwiches at 2 pm. Coffee is made available there as well. Thanks to our partners from PA outreach, Liz and Sheena for making and delivering sandwiches.

Thanks to Jeanette McKay for helping me prepare and deliver turkey dinners to Elders on Easter Sunday. Elders can call in to sign up for their delivery.

Thanks to everyone in the community for your kindness and for reaching out to Community Cares Kitchen to keep us running this marathon during this difficult time. Your help is so important and so appreciated. Please contact me (Natalie) at 306-930-1339. Please like us on FB – Community Cares Kitchen – Prince Albert.
