A Prince Albert woman found dead in her home last weekend, is being remembered by her colleagues and friends for her infectious laugh and smile.

Sandra Henry, 56, worked for Lake Country Co-Op for five and a half years, and was well known for her time spent behind the customer service desk.

Matthew Stenerson, director of human resources at the Co-Op, provided a statement for paNOW about the recent tragedy.

“We are shocked and saddened by her passing. Sandra was a friend to everyone that walked in the store and had the most infectious laugh. Once she started laughing, you couldn’t help but smile or join in yourself,” he said.

Sandra Henry, her husband Denis Carrier, and their seven-year-old grandson Bentlee were found dead last Sunday afternoon. Five-year-old Kenrah was also found at the home on MacArthur Drive and rushed to hospital in Edmonton where she remains in stable condition.

“We send our most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Sandra, Denis and Bentlee as we continue to pray for Kendrah. They will be missed greatly,” Stenerson said.

Craig Grainger worked with Henry prior at Sobey’s and most recently saw her when he delivered the pepsi orders to the Co – Op store.

“She was always easy to chat with, always willing to help, you know just a great person,” he said.

Graineger recalled Henry was a big hockey fan, and the two of them shared the same favourite hockey team, the Montreal Canadians.

“And I know she’s going to be missed by a lot of people,” he said.
