Man charged in connection to P.A. triple homicide

Apr 1, 2020 | 10:25 AM

The man charged in connection to the triple homicides of a family in Prince Albert is Nathaniel Kenneth Carrier.

Court documents show he was scheduled to appear at Prince Albert Provincial Court this morning, although that appearance was waived.

Carrier, 28, has been charged with three counts of first degree murder and one count of attempted murder.

He has been identified by family as the son of the murdered couple Denis Carrier and Sandra Henry. He is also the father of the seven-year-old boy who was murdered and the five-year-old girl who was seriously injured and who remains in an Edmonton hospital.

His next scheduled court date is April 15th, but again according to court documents, that appearance has been waved.

There was no immediate reason given for his non-appearance at court.

The Prince Albert Police Service is expected to provide an update to media later today.
