Police confirm arrest in triple-homicide case
Prince Albert Police have confirmed a lone male suspect has been arrested in connection to a triple-homicide investigation.
The bodies of two adults, and a seven-year-old boy were found late Sunday afternoon inside a home in the 300 block of MacArthur Drive. During a media briefing Tuesday afternoon, Police Chief Jon Bergen said the suspect was arrested without incident and charges are pending.
“We can tell you that the suspect is known to the family, although we will not be confirming details about the relationship between the victims and the suspect at this time,” he said.
Bergen said the limited information police released after the incident on Sunday was due to the suspect being at large and concerns to not compromise the investigation.
