SIGA properties to remain closed for the foreseeable future
The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) has announced their properties will remain closed until further notice.
In an email to paNOW, SIGA’s director of communications Melody Lynch said since announcing their closure on March 16, the Government of Saskatchewan has issued a public health order, which requires their properties to remain closed indefinitely.
“We will resume operations after the Public Health Order is lifted, while ensuring we continue to follow all recommendations and restrictions due to COVID-19,” Lynch wrote.
When closures were announced SIGA President and CEO Zane Hansen said employees would be paid for the two-week period.
