The City of Prince Albert has suspended the towing of vehicles for unpaid parking violations.
The city announced the measure in a media release detailing updates to city services amid COVID-19.
Vehicles may still be towed for SGI or police violations.
Meanwhile, the city’s water meter replacement program continues. Homes that have not yet had a new meter installed are asked to call the city to book an installation to avoid disconnection. Installers are taking precautions to ensure safety when entering homes. If an occupant has concerns over social distancing, the appointment can be booked for a later date.
