P.A.’s Vance named as Huskies’ team MVP

The University of Saskatchewan Huskies Women’s Hockey Team decided their most valuable player was from Prince Albert this year.

Goaltender Jessica Vance received the Huskies’ Shannon Miller Most Valuable Player award on Thursday.

Vance won 12 games in 19 appearances and registered five shutouts, a 1.44 goals against average and a .930 save percentage in her third season with the Huskies and fourth year of USports eligibility.
