Prince Albert working on COVID-19 plan
Top city of Prince Albert staff spent Wednesday and Thursday in meetings working on a plan in response to the threat of COVID-19.
The city is in the process of tweaking its existing municipal emergency plan which includes an pandemic plan.
City Manager Jim Toye told paNOW more information would be released tomorrow on if and when city events and facilities would be cancelled or closed.
“We want to be proactive rather than reactive,” he said. “Hard decisions are going to be made over the next few days, but it’s for the protection and safety of our citizens and people visiting Prince Albert.”
