A plumbing company, auto dealership and electrical contractor are in the running for the title of 2020 Samuel McLeod Business Awards (SMBA) Business of The Year.

The finalists for the awards across a total of ten categories were announced at an event in Prince Albert Friday. The Awards Gala is produced by the Prince Albert & District Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Saskatchewan Polytechnic.

The occasion was also an opportunity to acknowledge Janine Favreau, the recently announced winner of the P.A. and District Chamber of Commerce Legacy Award.

The SMBA Awards are open to all private sector (non-governmental) enterprises based in Prince Albert & District, whether large or small.

Applications for each of the categories were delivered to independent and anonymous judges.
