Murder charges laid in 2019 homicide case

Investigators with the Prince Albert Police Service have laid charges in relation a 2019 homicide investigation.

On Feb. 9, 2019, officers attended a location on the 200 block of 12th Street East around 1:15 a.m. When they arrived, Cody McAdam was located and was suffering from a serious injury. He was transported to a Saskatoon hospital where he later died of his injuries.

Bryce Bird, 19, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in McAdam’s death. He is scheduled to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Thursday, March 5.
