P.A. Fire Department respond to fire Sunday morning

Prince Albert Fire Department responded to a structure fire this morning on 28th St. and 6th Ave. E. near Carlton Comprehensive High School.

According to a Facebook post from the P.A. Fire Department, at 8:15 a.m. they responded to a fire at the 500 block of 28th St. E. where they discovered a residential home engulfed in flames and smoke.

The resident of the home was outside and nobody else was in the residence.

Firefighters attempted to do an interior attack and soon realized the structure was damaged and exited the home. Afterwards they began their defensive strategies.

As of noon today, they are still fighting the fire and the cause is under investigation.
