La Ronge homicide suspect arrested in P.A.
After evading police for weeks, one of the accused in the Sheena Billette homicide investigation was arrested yesterday.
Members of the Prince Albert Police Service arrested Charlie Napthalie Charles, 25, at a home in Prince Albert. A warrant for his arrest was issued mid-January and police requested the public to be on the lookout for him.
Charles is charged with first-degree murder, kidnapping and forcible confinement. He is one of five people facing charges in relation to Billette’s death.
Billette’s body was located on Dec. 23, 2019, seven kilometres north of La Ronge on Highway 102.
