Armed robber pleads guilty, awaits sentencing
The man who was charged in connection to two recent armed robberies in the city, has taken responsibility for his actions and now awaits his punishment.
Trent Ferris, 32, appeared via video Monday morning at Prince Albert Provincial Court where he entered guilty pleas for the November incidents.
On Nov. 9, police responded to a business in the 2600 block of Second Ave. W. for a robbery in progress. As officers were en route to the call, they noticed a white Toyota Tundra truck travelling at a high rate of speed. The truck matched the description provided by the call taker.
The driver did not stop for police, which triggered a chase. The pursuit ended after the driver drove onto a small pond and attempted to flee on foot.
