Two men facing firearms-related charges arrested
Police arrested two men wanted in connection with firearms related charges after police attended an unrelated call last night.
The attending officers spotted a suspect wanted in connection with a recent incident where a man pointed a firearm in the 2600 block of Second Avenue West.
They noticed a man who is the subject of a separate weapons investigation getting into a vehicle in the 1100 block of 13th Street West around 7:25 p.m. Wednesday. When police searched the vehicle, they located a sawed-off rifle and a homemade holster.
Thirty-one-year-old Tyson Ballantyne faces numerous firearms-related charges and one count of breaching court orders.
