Bears hold off Wildcats’ surge to take first of a three-game set

The Prince Albert Northern Bears held on just tight enough to hand the Swift Current Wildcats their second regulation loss of the season.
The Bears skated away with a 5-4 victory, after leading 5-2 following the second period.
The Bears now have 10 wins (eight in regulation) through 18 games, while the Wildcats have lost just twice (both in regulation) in 13 contests.
Paris Oleksyn had a pair of goals and an assist in the victory for the Bears.
