Raiders trade for centre Matthew Culling
The Prince Albert Raiders have made a player swap with the Swift Current Broncos.
Cole Nagy has been traded to the Broncos in exchange for centre Matthew Culling.
“We know Matthew very well,” said Raiders General Manager Curtis Hunt in a media release. “He provides speed and tenacity in our lineup and can support our secondary scoring. Matthew was also part of the Regina Pat Canadians’ championship team at the 2017 Mac’s AAA Midget World Invitational Tournament.”
Culling was drafted by the Edmonton Oil Kings in the 10th-round of the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft. Before the 2018-19 season Culling was acquired by the Broncos. This season with the Broncos he has three goals and an assist in 31 games.
