An unidentified woman has been found dead along Hwy 102.
Her body was discovered around 5:30 a.m. Monday about 8 kilometres north of La Ronge.
Police said its an Indigenous woman who appears to be between the ages of 20 and 30 years old with shoulder length brown hair that has slight red highlights. She is wearing a blue colored Toronto Blue Jays hoodie and green sweat pants.
The Forensic Identification section from Prince Albert is assisting local RCMP and the major crimes section with the investigation. Highway 102 is open but will be restricted to one lane for several hours as police investigate.
