Weapons bust and bike theft highlight weekend for police

Two large machetes, a sawed-off shotgun, and bolt cutters were among the items carried by one man Friday night in Prince Albert.

The 23-year-old was arrested in the 200 block of Ninth St. E. A small quantity of methamphetamine (4.5 grams) and two digital scales were also seized.

Jamyn Crawford made his first court appearance Monday morning in relation to the case and was remanded to Tuesday morning for his next appearance.

Specialty bikes

Prince Albert Police are looking for two very distinct looking bicycles, which were stolen from a parkade area near Woodbridge Drive Saturday morning.

The value of the bicycles was not released, but is estimated to be in the thousands of dollars.
