P.A. volleyball teams advance to provincials

A couple of P.A. volleyball teams will be heading to Provincials after a successful weekend.

The P.A. Carlton senior girls volleyball team advanced to the Girls 5A Provincials in Weyburn on Nov. 15 and 16 after placing second in regionals.

On Saturday in Lloydminster, the senior girls defeated Warman, École St. Mary and Lloydminster Comprehensive in 5A Girls Regionals. The girls only loss came from North Battleford Comprehensive High School who finished undefeated in regionals.

The École St. Mary High School senior boys volleyball team are 5A North Regional champs after defeating Meadow Lake on Saturday in Prince Albert.

The boys advanced to the 5A Provincials with a win against P.A. Carlton in the semi-final. With the win the team will head to Regina on Nov. 15 and 16 for the 5A Boys Provincials.
