Shellbrook’s Brooklyn Anderson had herself a day at the 2019 National Women’s Under-18 Championship.

Anderson, who’s also the captain of the Prince Albert Northern Bears, scored a goal and also scored the winner in the shootout as Team Saskatchewan beat Team Atlantic 3-2 on Wednesday in Winkler, Man.

That’s Saskatchewan’s second win in two games of the tournament, as they also beat Team Alberta 3-2 in regulation. They currently sit on top of Group A with five points (three for a regulation win, two for an overtime victory).

Also on Team Saskatchewan are fellow Prince Albert Northern Bears in Jasper Desmarais and Paris Oleksyn.
