Another armed hold-up in P.A.

Prince Albert Police responded to a second armed robbery in the city within a 24-hour period.

On Monday evening around 7:15 p.m., police were dispatched to a business within the 2800 block of Sixth Avenue East. Staff at the business reported a man threatened them with a knife before taking off with an undisclosed amount of cash and sunglasses.

An officer located the suspect walking nearby. Kyle Clarke, 22, is facing robbery, possession of a controlled substance and breach charges.

On Sunday evening, officers responded to the first robbery at a Shell gas station in the city. Police have not said if the two incidents are connected.

In an unrelated file, officers located a stolen vehicle in the 1300 block of Sixth Avenue East Monday.

Inside the vehicle, officers located a replica firearm, a knife, hammer, ammunition and a baseball bat.

Police arrested the 31-year-old female driver. She faces charges including possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of stolen property, and carrying a concealed weapon.
