Birch Hills fall in provincial football semifinals

The Birch Hills Marauders football team finished their season one game away from the SHSAA 2A 6-man provincial finals.
The Marauders were defeated in the semifinals in a wildly high scoring game, 84-63 to Wynyard. Last week, the Marauders beat Creighton 41-17 in the quarterfinals.
Wynyard and Hafford will meet in the provincial final, Nov. 9 in Wynyard.
The Birch Hills Marauders finished the regular season in third place in their division with a 4-2 record. They defeated Wakaw 46-45 in their playoff game on Oct. 19 to earn their spot in the provincial quarterfinals.
