Listen live: Election Night Special on radio

Oct 21, 2019 | 8:25 PM

Many are predicting a Liberal minority government this evening, however local Conservative candidates are likely to take hold in the province.

Gordon Kirkby and Don Cody sat in the P.A. newsroom to offer their thoughts on the federal election.

Kirkby says if it is a slim Liberal minority, the NDP could bring up the strength in votes, forming a coalition government.

“It’s a bit of a mishmash,” he said, but cautioned on calling it early before the B.C. votes come in.

“B.C. might be the achilles heel tonight. They might tell the tale of who the people are that are going to govern.”

A live Election Special radio program is airing from 8 p.m. across the Jim Pattison Broadcast Group of stations in Saskatchewan.

We have various anchors, reporters and special guests in Prince Albert, Battlefords, Meadow Lake, Melfort and La Ronge.
