Marauders to Provincials

St. Mary Marauders drop Regional Championship games

The St. Mary Marauders soccer teams were defeated by Warman in both 5A Regional Championship games on Saturday at Prime Ministers Park.

The St. Mary Marauders girls soccer team lost a close 3-2 battle this afternoon and did not achieve top spot in the region. Kara Petit scored twice for the Marauders.

Despite the loss they will still be going to the 5A Girls Provincials in Lloydminster on Oct. 25 and 26.

The Marauders boys soccer team also battled Warman for top spot in the region but lost the close contest 2-1. Evan Deback scored for the Marauders.

The boys will be heading to Swift Current for the 5A Boys Provincial Championships on Oct. 25 and 26.
