Jet boat river rescue

Oct 19, 2019 | 12:43 PM

The Prince Albert Fire Department’s (PAFD) jet boat was launched for it’s first rescue call late Friday afternoon.

According to a PAFD Facebook post the crew hit the water at 5:22 p.m. at the 200 block of River Street West after someone was found to have fallen into the river.

The person made their way to the south side of the river on the shoreline where the M-15 boat transported the person back to the boat launch.

With police and Parkland Ambulance at the location the subject was taken to Victoria Hospital to be checked out.
