On Sept. 23, at approximately 12:50 p.m., Nipawin RCMP received the report of a deceased adult male at a residence in Candle Lake, near the Fisher Creek Trading Post.

On Wednesday, the store’s owner confirmed for paNOW the deceased male was store manager Tom “Buck” Borson. Gord Cowan said Borson was well liked in the community, and news of his death had upset a lot of people.
