Head on crash claims life of 77-year-old man: RCMP

The cause of a fatal crash Friday night outside Birch Hills remains under investigation, according to RCMP.

Around 8:30 p.m., a car travelling northwest on Highway 3 collided head on with a pick up truck.The driver of the car, a 77-year-old man, was killed.

Three other people were sent to hospital.

Three men, all in their twenties, were listed in good and stable condition according to Parkland Ambulance.
