Gas theft in Holbein sends one man to hospital

Aug 15, 2019 | 12:00 PM

Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers and RCMP are on the lookout for two men, driving a matte black Ford-350 Harley Davidson edition, believed to be responsible for stealing gas and injuring an employee at a service station in Holbein.

Around 8:20 a.m. Tuesday, Shellbrook RCMP and Parkland Ambulance were called to the service station in Holbein for a report of an employee who had been struck by a pickup truck.

Initial investigations have led police to believe that two men tried to leave the station without paying for their fuel. An employee tried to stop the men from leaving by jumping into the driver side of the vehicle. The driver of the truck drove aggressively through the parking lot and the employee was ejected from the vehicle.

It’s believed the two suspects are now travelling west. One of the suspects was wearing a black Atlanta Braves ball cap, a black hoodie with large white text, and he is pictured wearing eye-glasses.
