PSD Jeb picks out suspect from garbage container

A garbage container proved to be a unworthy hiding place after Police Service Dog Jeb found a suspect in one early Sunday morning.

Police responded to an aggravated assault complaint just before 3 a.m. on the 500 block of 25 St. E.

The call came in after a resident noticed an injured woman outside a nearby home.

Officers deployed PSD Jeb and located the 38-year-old man hiding in a garbage container nearby.

The 37-year-old woman was taken to hospital for additional care and treatment.
