Debit machines, ammunition and numerous items seized in search warrant

Two men are facing several charges after police executed a search warrant at a Kemp Crescent home yesterday morning.

In their search, police seized firearms, ammunition, tools, bikes, debit machines and other property.

In the garage officers located a sawed off .22 calibre rifle, a blue mountain bike reported stolen earlier this week, several power tools, a propane-powered weed whacker, mountain bikes, compound bow and arrows, a paintball gun, a cheque book and several altered cheques, live shotgun and rifle rounds, several cellphones, iPads, bike tires, and woodworking tools.

In the home’s backyard, officers found two more bikes and three lawnmowers. In the home, police seized three debit machines and another bike.

Jayce Martin, 22, and Brandon Wenzel, 25, are facing charges including possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of ammunition, possession of stolen property and careless use of a firearm in relation to the search warrant.
