Suspect hides in dog house; apprehended by police dog

A suspect on the run from the Prince Albert Police Service was apprehended by Police Service Dog Jeb, who found the man hiding in a dog house in the backyard of a home in the 500 block of 15th Street W.

Police first spotted the man, wanted on several outstanding Criminal Code warrants, walking in the 600 Block of 13th Street W. around 4:30 p.m. Monday. The suspect tried to run from police but PSD Jeb was able to quickly locate him.

The suspect will appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court this week on the outstanding warrants.
