The Prince Albert Police Service arrested a 19-year-old man for a number of firearms charges just after 2 a.m. Friday morning.

While on routine patrol an officer noticed a suspicious individual walking on Fifth Avenue E. in the 600 Block carrying a large duffle bag. When police approached the suspect, he fled on foot.

Police Service Dog (PSD) Febee was able to assist officers in finding the duffle bag the suspect was carrying. A variety of firearms and ammunition were found in the duffle bag following a search by police. Febee then located the suspect in the shed of a home in the 500 Block of Sixth Street E.
