Outlaws outlast the SWAT

Jun 1, 2019 | 10:12 PM

The Prince Albert Outlaws evened up their record to 3-3 in the Prairie Gold Lacrosse League senior ranks, with a 13-10 victory over the Saskatoon SWAT (3-2).

The Outlaws win also exacts revenge for their latest defeat, a 15-9 SWAT victory in Saskatoon on May 24.

Outlaws attacker Brennan Boruch scored a hat trick while Brody Holizki had two goals and four assists in the victory.

The Outlaws had a seeming comfortable 12-8 lead late in the third period, but the SWAT made it interesting with two quick shorthanded goals to push the game to a 12-10 score with 1:43 remaining.

But Boruch completed his hat trick on the power play with 59.5 seconds left in the game to put the game out of reach.

The Outlaws will play the Saskatoon Steelers at the Kinsmen Arena at 6 p.m.
