Police investigating fatal crash near La Ronge

La Ronge RCMP are investigating a fatal single vehicle crash on May 18.

The crash happened around 3:45 p.m. on Highway 2, north of Weyakwin.

Investigators believe the vehicle left the roadway and rolled down an embankment into a wooded area and came to rest on its roof.

A 53-year-old woman from La Ronge was pronounced dead at the scene. The male driver and a second female passenger were taken to hospital in Prince Albert for non life-threatening injuries.
