Lions of MD5 Convention

The Prince Albert Lions Club and the Clubs of Zone 3 are hosting the Multiple District 5 Lions Convention in Prince Albert May 23 to May 25 at the Coronet Motor Hotel.

There will be 190 Lions from Saskatchewan, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Alberta and Manitoba.

Lions International 3rd Vice President Lions Brian Sheehan and Lion Lori Sheehan from Bird Island, Minnesota, USA will be our guests.

On Thurs May 23 there will be a Global Action Team Summit for Lions in leadership positions. On Thursday evening we will be having a necrology service to honour our Lions who have passed away in the past year.

Starting on Fri May 24 the convention The convention starts with a opening ceremony and then presentations on the following: Leadership by Les Karpluk, Brain Injury by Glenda James, What you need to do before you de by Harold Impey and a STARS presentation by Shari Lemon.

Other presentations will be on the Lions Foundation of Canada-Dog Guides, Lions Clubs International Foundation, Global Action Team, Lions Saskatchewan Foundation.
