Police capture P.A man after fleeing traffic stop

A 25-year-old Prince Albert man with several outstanding firearms related warrants has been apprehended by the Prince Albert Police Service.

P.A Police spotted the man 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning, while driving an SUV in the 200 Block of 16th Street West.

After an attempted traffic stop the suspect evaded police. Officers later caught up with the man on foot around the 300 Block of 20th Street West.

The man surrendered to police and top of his previous charges faces a charge of failing to stop for police.
