Sign up for the Strengthening Families Program

May 6, 2019 | 10:00 AM

SFP is a free program aimed at helping families strengthen and practice skills around attachment and bonding, communication, emotional management and conflict reduction.

Transportation, babysitting and meals are provided. We can arrange for rapid access to counselling at Catholic Family Services if requested by a participant for any reason.

SFP staff actively outreach and bridge to other agencies and services when appropriate. An elder attends programming, along with a diverse team of facilitators and professionals.

There are also incentives for attendance and participation.

***New this year is a summer program for families with children between the ages of 6-12! It will be held at the Gateway Mall, Tuesdays and Thursdays, July 9th to August 13th, from approximately
11am to 2pm each session.

2 programs for families with teens aged 12-17 will run out of Carlton High School, weekly from 5-8pm, September to December 2019, and January to March, 2020.

There is an application and intake process to determine a family’s ability to participate.

We are accepting referrals and applications for all programs now!
